West Side Story

West Side Story consists of 22' tall walls that run upstage and downstage. Since these walls were too tall to fit into our wagon house and must rep in one hour we had to design hydraulic jacks that allowed the walls to tip back onto tri-swivel casters (see pictures). The rest of the set consisted of a few wagons that roll in and out of the archways during the show and a cut drop that was sewn in house.
